IU offers many resources and methods to facilitate the accessibility of multimedia
Important steps to make audio or video content accessible to individuals with disabilities include:
- For the deaf or hard of hearing, provide transcripts for audio content and synchronized captions for video content
- For the visually impaired, provide video description for any visual-only video
- Strive to make the media player's interface and operation as accessible as possible
IU also offers other resources and facilities to maximize accessibility on campus. Reach out today for any additional questions or concerns about accessibility measures.
